The Portuguese superstar. Often ranked as one of the greatest players of all time. Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 400th senior career goal at the age of just 28. A wealth of league titles and accomplishments, under his belt he continues to be a formidable force. Such as the first footballer to score against every team in in a single season in La Liga, as well as the record for the fastest person to score 200 goals in La Liga. He is the only player in the history of football to score 50 or more goals a season for five consecutive season, making his 80 million transfer to Real Madrid from Manchester United worth every penny. On 15 December 2016, Ronaldo scored his 500th club career goal (377 goals for Madrid, 118 goals for Manchester United and 5 goals for Sporting Lisbon) in the 2–0 victory over Club América in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup.

On to Pastures new...

After Real Madrid had secured their thirteenth UEFA Champions League trophy there was a lot of speculation that Ronaldo could have played his last game for Los Blancos after referring to his time in Spain in the past tense.

On 10th July 2018 Ronaldo completed a €100 million transfer to Italian club Juventus, he signed a four-year deal. As part of the transfer Juventus made a contribution to Ronaldo's youth clubs. The transfer was the highest ever for a player over 30 and the highest ever paid by an Italian club.

Juventus have a strong domestic record, but with only two Champions League trophies to their name the capture of Ronaldo's signature is a massive boost. If Ronaldo can help La Vecchia Signora to another Champions League title then surely that will only strengthen is claims of being the World's Greatest.
